Juventus are planning a change in goal after struggling to sign their first-choice target, Emiliano Martínez of Argentina, SuperEaglesNG.com reports.

Martínez, who plays for Aston Villa, has impressed at the 2026 World Cup with strong performances and clean sheets for Argentina. Juventus want to strengthen their squad with him, but talks have stalled.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Udinese, Juventus have turned their attention to Maduka Okoye, the Nigerian goalkeeper at Udinese.

The Super Eagles star rebuilt his reputation in Serie A after a difficult start to the season. He served a six-match suspension linked to a betting investigation, then returned and became one of Udinese’s most reliable players.

the Nigeria international kept nine clean sheets in 30 league matches and conceded 32 goals. He helped Udinese finish mid-table with consistent performances, strong shot-stopping, and solid command of his area.

Udinese are ready to sell Okoye if they secure a replacement. They have identified Bologna goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia as a possible successor.

Juventus want a reliable goalkeeper quickly, and Okoye now stands as a realistic option after missing out on Martínez.
