Trabzonspor step up their pursuit of Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze as they strengthen their attack ahead of the 2026/27 season, according to Soccernet.ng. The Turkish side identify Chukwueze as a key target for the right wing and submit a bid worth approximately ₦23bn.
AC Milan now hold the decision after receiving the offer. Chukwueze remains under contract until 2028 after joining from Villarreal in 2023 for about €21.1m. His spell in Italy produces mixed results, and he spends the 2025/26 season on loan at Fulham in the Premier League, where he records goals and assists across 23 league appearances.
Trabzonspor also build a stronger squad for multiple competitions next season, including the Turkish Süper Lig and the UEFA Europa League. The club believe Chukwueze’s pace and dribbling add direct attacking threat as they push for domestic and European success.
No agreement reaches completion at this stage, and Milan do not issue a public response. Negotiations continue as both clubs assess the next steps in the potential transfer.
