Moses Simon Biography

In Jos city, Nigeria, a boy named Moses Daddy-Ajala Simon was born on 12 July 1995. He was small for a footballer, only 1.68 m tall, but very fast and clever on the pitch. His dad worked in the Nigerian Army, and Moses grew up dreaming of playing football for big clubs.

Moses Simon’s father is from Obagaji, Agatu LGA in Benue State, making it his state of origin. Born in Plateau State, Simon spent his early years there and is closely linked to Jos’ football scene. Despite these ties, he grew up in Kaduna State.

The Super Eagles winger is the ninth of ten children; he lost one brother to illness and two sisters during childbirth. Despite excelling academically, Simon chose football over his father’s wish for him to become a doctor or soldier.
