Super Eagles striker Jerome Akor looks set to leave Sevilla after the Spanish club left him out of their pre-season squad, with Olympique Marseille joining Venezia in the race to sign the Nigerian forward.
Super Eagles NG understands that Sevilla travelled to Krakow, Poland, for a pre-season friendly against KS Cracovia without Akor, adding to speculation over his future at the club.
Although Venezia remain in advanced talks to sign the 25-year-old, Marseille have also stepped up their interest as both clubs compete for the Nigerian striker during the summer transfer window.

The newly promoted Serie A side are reportedly prepared to pay more than €20 million to secure Akor’s signature, with negotiations continuing ahead of the new season.
