Super Eagles forwards Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella both scored as Bayer Leverkusen began their 2026/27 pre-season campaign with a 7-0 victory over Sportfreunde Baumberg on Saturday.
The Bundesliga side took control early, with new signing Afonso Moreira scoring twice inside the opening 27 minutes on his debut. Victor Boniface Scores Twice For Bayer Leverkusen
After the interval, Victor Boniface scored twice within four minutes to extend Bayer Leverkusen’s lead. Robert Andrich then made it 6-0 in the 56th minute before Nathan Tella added the seventh goal in the 67th minute.
Meanwhile, Boniface and Tella both featured for Bayer Leverkusen against Sportfreunde Baumberg as the club opened its pre-season schedule. Both Nigeria internationals finished the match on the scoresheet.
